Marine ecosystems are part of the earth's hydrotic ecosystem/biome. The marine ecosystem includes oceans, estuaries, salt marshes, lagoons, some tropical ecosystems, such as mangrove forests and coral reefs, rocky, subtidal ecosystems, and shores.
